Hello I am the new blogger on this here blog site.
Since LIM likes to write movie reviews I thought I would write 1 about the movie I saw recently. On Saturday I saw with a group of people the film A Boy/Girl Thing.
Now this movie follows traditional Freaky Friday (which is a bad film) sorta rules for the whole body switch idea. The boy and girl in the film are opposites and always arguing. 1 day they wake up in each others body and to change back they need to learn to appreciate each other and what each other does in their life.
Now I saw this film not knowing what to expect and i was quite suprised it turned out to be quite good and very funny in places, unlike Freaky Friday which is soooooo awesomely bad you don’t want to see it.
The film is let down at the ending which is exceptionally transparent and predictable even from the offset of the movie (also it let down in the last scene by the fact they turned Ozzy off and put James Blunt on as BGM).
However the main quality of this film is the humour which is suprisingly funny and sometimes quite adult which suprised me, so the abysmal and forseeable ending can be overlooked for the simlpy fact this movie makes you laugh occasionally.

nice work, if only everybody else were as passionate about cinema. I’m still not going to see it though as I’d rather choke down a bottle of moxon blood than see another teen movie.
btw, cheers for commentin the bond review.

Its alright saying that your both up to date with modern cinema if you don’t also pay attention to modern classics (and some not so modern) from the past. A few suggestions for you – The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, The Elephant Man, Oh! What A Lovely War, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. All amazing films, even if not up to the standards of modern day cinema.
LIM- I love the fact how no-one has been in contact with Moxon since he left and yet, he’s the person that comes to mind when discribing anything as horrid! lol.
