More Doctor Who news!!!!

As we are approaching the last episode in the current series of Doctor Who, the BBC has finally announced who will be taking over from Billie Piper as the Doctor’s Assistant.

Her name is Freema Agyeman, and for those of you who are thinking that she looks familiar (see pic right), she played a cameo in last Saturdays episode as one of the workers at Torchwood who got “upgraded” by the Cybermen, and i believe she has alos starred in Casualty and The Bill a few times.

In the series, her character name will be Martha Jones, however, Russel T Davies has said that she will not be starring in the Christmas special as he reported on the BBC website today that,
““We’ve got another surprise in store for that”

What will she be like taking over Billie’s position, we’ll have to wait and see!!
